In my loft are bags and bags of items relating to each year I have attended the TT. Each bag has a label showing the year so it is easy to retrieve information when I need it.The items in the bag range from press releases, press reports, photos and souvenirs. My Missus refers to it as rubbish but to me it is very precious since it is all representative of over 60 years as a TTFan.
As an example I have used my 1980 bag.
1980 was a good year because my friend Doug Randall aspired to 7th place on his Suzuki RG500 and also was clocked as the fastest privateer through the Highlander at, if I read my notes correctly, 147mph.
